The annual Tunnel to Towers Run is a memorial run, in tribute to the memory of the heroic life and death of Stephen Siller, his 342 FDNY brothers, and all 9/11 victims.
One of New York City's biggest annual charity events, it is a 5k race that draws between 20-30,000 people each year including such celebrities as: former NYC Mayor,
Rudy Giuliani; actor, John Turturro; "The Singing Policeman" /operatic tenor, Daniel Rodriguez and actor/performer Tony Danza.

The race benefits families, firefighters, and children in need both in NYC and throughout the USA through multiple charities such as: The NYC Firefighter Burn Center,
Burn Centers Across America, The New York Founding Organization, Freedom Alliance Scholarships, and Kidsave.
